Young Players

Fylde Coast Young Players is the only youth group in the Lytham St Annes area focussing exclusively on acting and not musical theatre. Our lively and fun sessions aim to give young performers a good understanding of the basic principals of acting in conjunction with practical experience of performance. The group is open to anyone aged 10 to 18 years with any level of experience.

Sessions focus on all areas of theatre practice from acting techniques, character work, vocal skills, stage combat and movement through to the backstage disciplines of set design, wardrobe, make up, lighting and sound and much more! And with two shows each year, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to showcase your skills!

Sessions take place every Tuesday during term time at King Edward VII and Queen Mary School on Clifton Drive, Lytham St Annes, FY8 1DT (see term dates on the information for students page).
